Being oneself and not depending on others means having and cultivating a comprehensive self-esteem and good, positive thoughts and feelings of appropriate self-worth. In this way, very few problems arise in relation to one's own world of thoughts, feelings, psyche and consciousness, as a result of which people are rarely or only extremely rarely - if ever - unhappy, dissatisfied and unhappy in their lives and do not make life unnecessarily difficult for themselves and do not suffer from this or from events and situations etc. that occur.


Below are 21 points relating to the development of healthy self-esteem and mental and emotional self-esteem as well as self-worth, which are of great importance because they correspond to self-esteem and self-worth-determining behaviors, so they - along with various others that are not absolutely necessary to mention - should be observed in order to acquire and follow them:


  1. My thoughts and aspirations are only focused on myself, my nature and my behavior, so I only measure myself against myself and do not compare myself with other people.

  2. Since I only focus on myself, my own nature and my own behaviour, critically examine myself, my thoughts and feelings as well as my actions and speech, and analyze and correct what is wrong and flawed in and about myself, I do not feel attacked by other people if they have something to criticize about me.

  3. My own demand to do and give my best to the best of my ability and capacity prevents any desire to seek recognition and praise from others.

  4. If I make a mistake or do something wrong, I am aware of my own responsibility for it and do my best to rectify the mistake or wrong and put it right, so I never feel the need to defend myself.

  5. As I always do my best and to the best of my ability to carry out, complete, do and undertake everything I have to do, I approach everything with confidence and do everything without fear of failure.

  6. I am aware that I cannot do and accomplish anything to perfection, therefore I do not strive for absolute perfection, but only what is possible for me, but I do everything correctly to the best of my ability and ability to complete and fulfill what I have to do to my satisfaction and to be blameless.

  7. For everything I say, do, act and display through my behavior, as well as for the problems I cause, I hold only myself responsible without exception, but never any of my fellow human beings.

  8. I feel the need to let my fellow human beings recognize my true nature without any fear and to behave accordingly at all times.

  9. Just as I feel the need to do everything well and correctly according to my own ability and capacity, I also feel the need to do everything equally for my fellow human beings.

  10. It is alien to me to simply try to do everything right for everyone in order to be recognized or praised by them; what I do for my fellow human beings lies solely in behaving correctly towards them and doing what I do for them correctly, impeccably and to the best of my ability and capacity.

  11. In any case, I am independent of other people's opinions, because I always have my own, which I stand by and defend, but which I am prepared to correct at any time if I am proven wrong.

  12. In principle, I am prepared to help my fellow human beings in every possible, righteous and responsible way, but I do not allow myself to be tempted to deny them any requests, things, demands and wishes if I consider it necessary for logical reasons.

  13. It is alien to me to envy fellow human beings for what they have, be it in terms of possessions, material and financial wealth, knowledge and wisdom, happiness and contentment or in terms of abilities and talents, etc.

  14. If I make mistakes or do something wrong, then I stand by this in the knowledge that mistakes happen to everyone and that everyone also does wrong, because making mistakes and doing wrong are evolutionary and the whole thing is therefore inevitable; consequently, I do not consider myself to be worth less than my fellow human beings.

  15. There is no reason for me to fall prey to any thoughts of guilt or feelings of guilt, because I prevent myself from doing things and committing deeds or actions as well as indulging in behavior that would not be righteous and not of the right or that would not correspond to my honorableness.

  16. Since I am aware of my abilities and talents, my modesty, my good character, my education, my knowledge and my good and positive behaviors and my honesty, honorableness and dignity, I have no need to emphasize and prove it all by cutting, shining or boasting.

  17. Since I respect myself in righteousness and my self-worth is also in a good and positive measure of righteousness, I do not worry in any way about what my fellow human beings think and say about me.

  18. If I make a mistake or do something wrong, I accept the whole thing and am aware that I have to learn from it, correct the mistake and change it logically for the better and for the good, and that I do not have to feel guilty or condemn myself as a result.

  19. By conforming to reality and the resulting truth and therefore only accepting reality and its truth, I can always adapt to new situations in an appropriate way and fit into them without being harmed.

  20. In general, I see all my fellow human beings as well as myself as human beings, as beings of creative-natural form, and as such I see everyone - including myself - as equal without distinction, so I do not consider other people as such, nor myself, to be of lesser value.

  21. My modesty is valuable to me, and because of this I am not prepared to be exalted, praised and showered with compliments by my fellow human beings; basically, I only appreciate - if at all - modest recognition in the form of a simple word of thanks.
